The competition team at Team Third Law is by far the best competition team in the the planet. Not only is the team going to every possible competition but not only will you find the best team enviroment too.
Not only is this a school where You can train any time of the day not only 3 days a week but the school is open 7 days a week and you can train as much as you want. Mainly because we never want our students to feel like were limiting them on how much they can train.
So if you think your ready to become part of a team that brings home international level titles then Team Third Law is the place for you.Because not only is this the school for you to train at to get better at jiu jitsu but stronger mentally.

Testing
Its that time of the month again, TWO Days and counting until the test on Wednesday for our students at Team Third Law of Naples, FL. The Test will consist of 3 main sets of flow drills. For those of you that don’t know what a flow drill is you can find out all of this information and more about how our curriculum works online at http://www.ThirdLawCoach.com
This website offers our student an amazing resource to go on and check out all of the techniques we are learning that month or going to be learning for that month. It is an amazing resource for improving your Jiu Jitsu game. Most schools don’t have a website with a detailed curriculum and videos being put up where you can see the technique being used at the highest level of competition.
At Team Third Law we are always pushing our students to do better on our tests because when we push them to do better on the test they are drilling the technique more and putting in more and more mat time. In turn when test day comes they are well prepared and know exactly what to expect come test time. I really look forward to seeing all the students on Wednesday 1/3/10 for testing and for those of you that are not students check out…
Competition Team

The competition team at Team Third Law is the best competition team for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the South West Florida area by far… You can see from this video alone guys like Joey Ruggiero who have been competing like crazy over the past couple months are bringing back gold medals from tournaments like the Abu Dhabi Trials.
Today was the day of the Abu Dhabi Trials and not only Joey Ruggiero, but all of the 9 people that went to the tournament gained experience that they will carry with them the rest of their lives from this tournament. The tournament was very well organized once it got up and running and most of our guys got their matches in right away, which was great.
All in all the tournament was a great spot for the team to gain some more experience for the upcoming big tournament such as Pan- Ams at world. Because at Team Third Law, we’re not only shooting for local and state tournament wins, but internationly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation gold medals…

Importance of Cleanliness

The importance of being clean is a big reason why everyone should always shower on a daily basis. Because if you don’t shower on a regualar basis you start to smell, you could get sick it doesn’t turn out to be a pretty scene. So to avoid this you just shower regularly… simple enough. Same thing applies to cleaning a martial art school, cleaning your room, these things need to be done even though they may not seem top priority.
Cleaning the mats at a martial arts school is a task most people don’t often get to partake in and a task that is far from fun. These things must be done though to keep the school operational and if they are’nt done the school could start to smell and the same scenario about proper showers occurs again.

Importance of Team Philosophy

Team Third Law
A team that wants to be at its highest level, compete with the best, train the best, simply be the best must have a strong team philosophy. At Team Third Law we put a huge emphasis on the fact that we have a very strong team environment and we are always looking to make each other better. Because frankly if you have a team where everyone in it is always out to get one another there is no way on earth that the team can be productive.
The reason why we have such a strong team environment is because of the emphasis we put on it, We tell all of our students that you must treat everyone like you would want to be treated. Also, their are always other constant reminders that force the environment to be positive and uplifting. We stated in a previous article the importance of saying SUPER FANTASTIC, another asset to what makes our team that much better.
Our team philosophy simply consists of, helping each other out, not holding any knowledge back, and doing what is best for the team. You have to believe that making the team better is going to benefit you overall, because with a bigger and stronger team you get more people to roll with, more people to train with, a bigger school to fit new people, the list goes on and on…. In Conclusion, without a strong team philosophy in place, to always be helping each other to reach each others goals and succeed, the team won’t make it and that is why Team Philosophy is SUPER IMPORTANT.
