Always Have A Backup

Backup Computer Files

This topic relates to pretty much everything… You should always have a backup plan in business, life, Jiu Jitsu, pretty much anything. For example if you need to wake up the following day for an important speech and you only set one alarm, instead of setting two just incase one doesn’t go off then you weren’t giving yourself a backup plan. Not only should you have a backup plan but more than one of the item, or person you can rely on. Having two alarm clocks for example or in business having ther person you can rely on to get a task accomplished.

In Jiu Jitsu having a backup means having a B-gameplan, and then a C-gameplan. If you don’t have a gameplan made up already i would strongly suggest you do so to make your Jiu Jitsu better. Having a gameplan means you have written down what you are really good at on the mats and which positions you want to play during a match at a tournament. Lets just say though that someone forces you into a position that isn’t in your gameplan… this is where backup plan kicks in and you switch to your B-gameplan.

Most people don’t understand the importance of having more than one object that serves an important task  or having more than one person you can rely on to help you out in your business whatever. This topic is SUPER important when it comes to life in general and more people will hopefully grasp it when they read this. In conclusion, always have a backup plan be it for whatever aspect of your life if it is important it is worth having…

No Excuses…

You can’t make excuses for anything…admit when your wrong learn from it apologize if you have to and move on. When you start to make up excues and reasons whythe situation occured your only hurting yourself. For example, and there is many, if you dont’t do your homework on time and you make up an excuse like your dog ate it or something along those lines your not learning from the experience of failure and your going to keep failing.

Learning from failure is SUPER important, All of the famous inventors like Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin all learned from their mistakes that they made and turned the failure into sucess. They didn’t make excuses to why they made the mistake they learned from it moved on and tried it differently. Sometimes they failed multiple times but like Roberto Torralbas tells everyone at Team Third Law no one has ever failed, failed, failed, failed and then died a failure.

There are many examples of learing from failure and not making excuses like Abraham Lincoln is another great example of a person that learned from failure and ended up being SUPER sucessful. This is because people like Abraham, and people that learn from failure and don’t make excuses are they people that are going to become EXTREMLEY successful. So when you find yourself making up an excuse for something STOP! don’t do it your only hurting yourself.
